From a very young age, Trey, Krista, and Martin Bello were inspired by their mothers craft in natural hair care. Outside of the home the options for specific natural hair care needs were very difficult to locate. The Trio envisioned an experience where everyone had the options for stylists who specialize in specific Hair Care needs in one centralized location.
At the ages of 20, Martin Bello studied Cosmology while also specializing as a Loctitian and Weaveologist. After completing his Associates in Cosmetology, He searched to work with others highly trained cosmetologists that also specialized in Natural Hair. Martin dedicated 8 years to locate and network with stylists on a national scale. From there, he developed a strong team of specialists dedicated to fulfilling Verenig’s mission.
“Having been born in South Africa, I have developed a deep appreciation for our heritage. I have found African American Cosmetology to have a limited representation in mainstream Western Cosmetology and little representation in high end salons.” – Martin Bello
Krista Bello followed her elder brother at the age of 18 and studied along side him during his graduating year of Cosmetology. She perfected her skills with Martin on ‘off block hours’ to become a Weaveologist. Her Associates in Cosmetology had given her the title of Master Precision Cutter and Colorist. Krista worked as a stylist for four years in Dallas before she joined Martin on his mission. She directly networked with stylist and helped Martin build their team.

At the age of 17, Trey Bello pursued a Business Management Degree. His goal was to be able to find and provide a logistic plan for him and his siblings to create their dream Salon. In May of 2018, Trey graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. Trey has worked as a business analyst for Sendero, since 2018.
