The course expands general first aid to give more detailed information and hands-on skills practice for the remote setting \u2013 using what you will find in your backpack to care for patients. \u00a0The ESCI Wilderness First Aid class covers assessment and urgent first aid techniques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The ESCI Wilderness First Aid is accepted at Philmont by the Boy Scouts of America.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An optional Bee Sting class for the use of EPI pen will be offered at the end of class. It is limited to ages 21 and over and is the Oregon State Mandated Class. An additional fee is charged.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Intended Audience<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_7\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A minimum age of 14 is recommended.
