Behind the current headlines, homelessness is a complicated tangle of\n stories, and a web of area services trying to meet a diversity \nof needs. Some of the people running these services will be on hand for \nthe next City Club of Corvallis Lunch to discuss what is currently \navailable to prevent homelessness, and to help those that are currently \nhomeless. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This panel will seek to step outside the ongoing controversies for a \ndeeper discussion with service providers , in order to focus on \nunderlying causes as well as the supports currently available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Outreach Inc. Executive Director, Kari Whitacre <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corvallis Housing First Executive Director, Andrea Myhre <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jackson Street Youth Shelter Executive Director, Ann Craig <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Housing Opportunities Action Coalition Manager, Shawn Collins <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Room at the Inn Women\u2019s Shelter Director, Sara Power <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event is free and open to the public. Scheduled for Tuesday, <\/em>November\n 13, doors will open at 11:30 am at the Boys & Girls Club of \nCorvallis at 1112 NW Circle Blvd. The event will begin at noon, and a \nlunch from Valley Catering will be available: $10 for members and $15 \nfor nonmembers.
