Our community is at a crossroads over a \nbroad range of issues, and whoever we elect this year is going to leave \nmarks on our city and county that will likely reach far into the future.\n Housing and homeless are on everyone\u2019s minds, along with law \nenforcement and mental health services. Many also believe the future \nface of downtown and South Corvallis will be decided in these next four \nyears, and the list could go on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a diversity of candidates and visions for voters to choose \nfrom this election cycle, so City Club of Corvallis and the Corvallis Advocate<\/em> CitySpeak\n project are partnering to host debates for each contested City Council \nWard, the Mayoral race, and for the County Commissioner contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All events will be open to the public, free of charge. Time has been \nallotted at each debate for audience questions and comments for the \ncandidates. The schedules are below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Old World Deli, Tuesday, October 2:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Council, Ward 1, at 5:30pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Council, Ward 2, at 6:00pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Council, Ward 3, at 6:30pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Council, Ward 5, at 7:00pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Council, Ward 9, at 7:30pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Corvallis-Benton Public Library, October 4:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
